Journalism is a form of activism. A form of activism that we explored together with thirteen youth workers from Albania, Italy, Spain and Morocco, who gathered in Tirana for #Eurhope’s training course, to talk about narrative journalism and migration, powerful tools for reshaping stories and bridging gaps. We talked about the power of stories in rewriting narratives, the power of telling one’s own and doing so in the first person by connecting them to a broader public reasoning, and connections between migrations. We visited spaces and listened to important voices in Tirana, we produced three podcast episodes. And we understood, together, how to improve self-telling: all elements that we will bring into our self-telling kit.
